I'm having a problem running an asp script on a website.
The script is called sendmail.asp

Everytime I submit the form its giving the error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

After submitting the form it changes the URL in the address bar to
500 Internal Server Error

This is a coding issue. I would suggest stripping down your sendmail.php file and just instructing it to send out a simple hello world email to your email address... Once that's working add more and more of the functionality until you happy you have everything in there.

Also double check your SMTP settings are correct. This should be done before you dig too deep into a coding issue. SMTP server settings can be primary causes of errors like this.

so its not a server issue. Its more to do with the code in the sendmail.asp

Yep - ensure your SMTP settings are correct and have a quick flick through the code and you should be back on your feet
