Thanks again for your detailed reply. I don't have these options you mention in my CP for adding a domain. Do you mind my asking what VPS plan you are using?

I'm using VPS Basic Windows Hosting

Login to cp.blacknight.com. Click on BILLING to be taken to the billing manager

Under the section "Domain management" you should see REGISTER NEW

This is where I register my domains. You could do it that way or just go to Web hosting Ireland, domain registration, dedicated servers, colocation - Blacknight Solutions and enter the domain in the search box. If it is available then you will be taken to the registration page.


Bloody hell I sound like I work for Blacknight (Which I don't)

You need to register the domain on the cp.blacknight or www.blacknight before you add it to your VPS

It should be the same for all platforms.

That's interesting, I'm VPS Basic Linux but have a slightly different process for adding domains. Also interesting is that my Horde webmail doesn't work either
