ftp access prior to DNS propagation

Hi All,

I am sure we are not to first to have this issue -

Is there a way to setup ftp access to a hosted domain prior to DNS propagation e.g. using the IP

I know Plesk has the "File Manager" but I am looking for a Name or IP that can be used for ftp e.g. within Dreamweaver.

You should be able to see your VPS' IP from within the control panel, so if the user has an FTP account it should work
