 .htaccess on root folder
Every time I try to upload a .htaccess file onto the httpdocs/ folder on my medius account it disappears, why would this happen?

You probably can't see it depending on your FTP client - a lot of them don't display filenames that begin with "."

Yes that is exactly the problem. Cuteftp does not display the file, but Dreamweaver does. Thanks

I *think* you can configure it to display them, but as I don't use Windows I've no way of checking
