Transferring Old Packages to new minimus hosting

Hi,

I have a soho package that is soon to expire and was thinking about
getting a Linux Minimus account, is there much downtime for websites & email accounts if I transfer most of my domains & files to the new hosting plan when I sign up?

The best way to do it would be to sign up for the new account a few days before your current subscription expires.
