Url forwarding...

i was just wondering if any users here have had any experience with blacknight and Url forwarding... ive rasied this issue with them but they seem to be more interested in "helping" in way that results in hosting sales for them...

i paid to register a domain with them and now all i want is for its url to be forwarded to my own server...

I do not see any point what so ever in buying hosting from blacknight. as i get free hosting on my college server. the college is its own isp( hooked into the irish network through optical lines) and i have unlimited space on the server,which I have full control over AND ITS FREE! so i definatly do not see any point in paying for a lesser service...

blacknight keep on feeding me bullshit that my hosting company will deffinatly be able to forward traffic from my domain, but my point being is i do not pay a company to host my site, i have it on a free multi user unix file server... which means the means to accessing my site is through url forwarding...

i recently set up url forwarding at work for a eu domain through http://www.register.be, it was as simple as point and click... now thats what i would consider a good service...

i dont see why blacknight can not provide the same service without being is painful as this has been so far... i mean i bought the domain of them dont i have a right to have it pointing to my site, as at the moment it is being used as advertising for them...
