| There is a situation that I have come across where a business registered an IE domain name that wasn't the same as their RBN. They have parked it [not in use]. A person with that RBN now wants to register the name. As an example, suppose I want to register 'curratech.ie' [my RBN], but it has been pre-registered by Curragh Laboratories or some such name. What is the situation here? Is there a disputes procedure? |

| Richard The IEDR does have a dispute policy as outlined at: http://www.iedr.ie/IEDRP_Launched.php I would recommend that you review the contents of that page and then talk to the IEDR directly. Ultimately the decision rests with the IEDR. If we can be of any help please let us know |
