Setting up a Internet Radio show?

Hi, I already know how to set up a live internet radio show from my pc, but im limited to the amount of listeners I can have with my broadband upload speed. As far as im aware I will need a web host/ or a server? And will this web host/server need special requirements? And is it simple to basically transfer from my pc, during the show, to the host so that listeners can tune in? I really don't have a clue, and a bit of help/advice would be appreciated!

You're probably looking at some kind of media server solution.

If you're on a tight budget then something like Shoutcast might do the trick
