Default MySql Database size

Just wondering what is the max size you will allow a database to grow to and does it vary with plans
My current host has me restricted to 50MB but this limits my forum to around 10000 posts.
They have told me they will add an extra 50MB for $19.95 per month.

Hi there

Sorry for not replying sooner

We currently don't impose size limits strictly. We'd be more concerned about database traffic / usage ie. number of queries being run, slow queries, badly formed SQL etc., In simple terms usage that has a negative impact on performance and affects other users
