Default Multiple 404.shtml Pages

Is it possible to create multiple 404.shtml files?

Default 404 Pages

Yes, i have put a 404.shtml in the root, but it dosent work for the folders that are in the root for example i type in "http://www.tophatsolutions.ie/web_design/webskjghj" the 404.shtml doesnt read my css file

Any Suggestions?

Easy enough

Your page includes this code:
Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/style.css" />
Which is basically telling it that the CSS file is located relative to the document, which is fine in the web root, but will cause you headaches outside it.

If you change that to a full URL to the CSS file it should work no matter which directory you are in.

Try it and let me know how you get on
