Hello, I have a Blacknight Linux SOHO package (soon the new Minimus package) and I would like to associate several domains with this package. These domains will be a mix of .ie .eu and .com For example, I might like to have: cork-car-sales.ie love-westlife.com love-manu.eu How do I prevent people from using whois services to obtain my personal details, and hence learn that I am a car dealer who likes Westlife and Manchester United? Currently I can obtain my full name, address, telephone, and and email address from the Whois server. Ideally, it would be nice if all these fields were blank, although I guess that it will always be possible to see that Blacknight registered the domain for me ![]() Thanks, CU |

For the .ie domain only very basic details are displayed, so your name is about all that is visible With a .eu domain, if it is registered to an individual, no information is viewable apart from your email address and that is an image ie. not scrapable For .com domains the default is to display full contact details, however you can opt for whois privacy at an extra cost or simply change the details to be c/o of our offices

| We're currently revisiting this entire area, as we've had several registrants who put us in as the registrant for the domain name - which is not exactly a good idea for a multitude of reasons

You *should* be able to do that by updating the contact via the control panel ie. edit the existing contact
