Access to second domain before changing nameservers?

I've just added a second domain in Direct Admin as i want to transfer my live site to the server.

How can i get http access to the site before changing the nameservers?

The easiest way of previewing a site before making a dns change is to edit your hosts file.

More information on the location of the hosts file, depending on the Operating system you are using may be found here:

The usual format for an entry would be:
ipaddress hostname

eg.

127.0.0.1 www.yourdomain.tld (where 127.0.0.1 is replaced by the server's ip and www.yourdomain.tld is replaced by your domain name)
