Morgana Outage ~ 10:00am Aug 22nd

Hi All,

Shared linux box "morgana" had an issue this morning which resulted in us having to reboot the machine. Preliminary investigations have revealed that a prominent political blog was targed by a US IP address and copious amount of http GET requests were sent to many links on this site, causing the load to jump significantly.

All services were back by approx 10:30.

We're still investigating this unscheduled outage.
