I thought it may be of benefit starting a thread on this - I am new to the
VPS offering and had an issue with how the nameservers were resolving each time I set up a domain in
Plesk -
The issue -
http://www.xencore.com/mytest.html
does not work resolve... BUT
http://xencore.com/mytest.html
is fine
www.xencore.com was not correctly resolving to the host... I assumed it was a
dns issue - the nameservers being slow to refresh and the such but after some testing we realised that the domain resolved correctly to xencore.com.
It seems strange that the default domain setup in
Plesk would omit the "www" prefix.
I am new to
Plesk so maybe its an obvious step that I am missing
Anyone experience the same?
